Lake Erie College will host its annual spring Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Student Showcase: Symmetry opening April 6 in the B.K. Smith Gallery in the Royce Hall for the Fine and Performing Arts on the campus in Painesville, Ohio. Free, convenient parking is in the lot adjacent to Royce Hall, with the lot entrance on Gillett Street.

This year’s BFA show will feature the award-winning work of two Visual Communication in Graphic Design (VCGD) majors, seniors Brittney Alfieri and Holly Wright-Fletcher. Each received a national award from the 2023 Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) Package Design competition, repeating their successful individual wins of the GDUSA graphic design competition in 2022.

Alfieri is a VCGD major with a double minor in business administration and marketing. Wright-Fletcher is finishing her BFA in graphic design alongside a minor in marketing. Both students will graduate in May 2023.

Their work will be showcased alongside the Physician Assistant Program art contest and the Spring Student Art Show. The reception will be on April 6 from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

There is no admission charge for the gallery and visitors are encouraged to attend at any time to see the range of personal styles and interpretation of themes.
