The dance faculty is committed to the development of dance artists who are technically proficient, grounded in the history and aesthetic theory of their craft, and skilled in the creation and production of original art work. Class sizes are typically small. As a result, attention can be given to your individual technical needs. Creative process work is essential to the complete dance artist. Therefore, in addition to coursework in composition, all dancer concentrates are required to participate with faculty and guest choreographers in the development and production of creative works presented in various informal and formal concert venues throughout the academic year.
