September

The LEC Storm Riders are over the moon to hit the road to their first shows for the fall semester! The IHSA Hunt Seat team heads out first on September 17-18, traveling to Albion College to sharpen their skills against the Britons.

The School of Equine Studies is hosting a variety of schooling shows and clinics, beginning with a Dressage Schooling Show on Saturday, September 24. All profits of that show will benefit the Intercollegiate Dressage Association (IDA) team. Our Hunter/Jumper riders will enjoy a Schooling clinic with LEC Alum Jill Knowles on Sunday, September 25.

October

This is a huge month at the George M. Humphrey Equestrian Center, starting with the School of Equine Studies’ fourth annual Equine Experience Day on Friday, September 30, through Saturday, October 1. This is an all-hands-on-deck event for EQ.

The IDA team heads to their first show of the season at Miami University on October 8-9, starting their hunt for the Region D Championship title in 2022.

The Hunt Seat team hosts the LEC’s first home show of the season on October 15-16. They’re ready for some payback after a heartbreaking loss against Findlay at last year's final regular-season show. Theirs is a rivalry that dates back over twenty years ago. Go Storm Riders! Spectators to this show are ALWAYS encouraged to cheer on our Storm Riders as they defend their home arena!

IDA travels to Otterbein on October 29-30, and Saturday the 29th, the IHSA Western team opens their season against the U. Findlay Oilers, taking their first crack at UF’s goliath western team.

November

Always game for a road trip, the IHSA Hunt Seat team heads to Findlay on November 5-6 to spill some oil! Our IHSA Western Team hosts their double-header home show on Saturday, November 19. Spectators are always welcome at home events!

December

The IHSA Western team ducks down to Findlay on December 3 for their last show of the fall semester. The Western Storm Riders always love to bring home some swag from their arch-rival's home turf!
