Taylor Graham, Admissions
At Lake Erie College, you'll often hear us say that the opportunities are endless. Former student and current employee Taylor Graham is a strong proponent of this philosophy, working to help the future students of the College take advantage of all it has to offer.
A native of Lakewood, Ohio, Taylor first arrived at LEC as a freshman in 2011 and quickly found her roots. She began working as a tour guide in the Office of Admissions during her first year and became very involved in the School of Equine Studies. By the time she graduated in December 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in equine entrepreneurship and a minor in biology, Taylor had four years of experience working in admissions at the College under her belt and was offered a full-time job.
In her current position, Taylor has the opportunity to share her own experiences with other students as they conduct their college searches. “My favorite part of the job is meeting the students,” she said. “I love seeing smiles on their faces when they visit campus or as they start to make friends at orientation.”
For Taylor, the supportive admissions team with whom she works makes it easy for her to be successful. Her job has given her the opportunity to travel to different cities and states while also working toward her Master of Business Administration degree through the College’s Parker MBA program. “I have gathered so many great experiences in different fields at LEC,” she said. “I don’t think I would have had these opportunities if I had attended or worked at another college.”
When she isn’t traveling for the job, Taylor’s favorite places on campus are the College Green behind College Hall or the George M. Humphrey Equestrian Center.
Taylor’s advice to prospective students? “Visit campus and see what wonderful opportunities Lake Erie College has to offer you!”
