Tracy Dickinson Day

Tracy Harrington Dickinson '78 is remembered for her generous volunteer service, spirited philanthropy and passion for Lake Erie College. The music history major and Spanish minor spent her Winter Term Abroad in Salamanca, Spain but lived in College Hall during her time in Painesville. She served as a trustee of the College from 1991 until her death in 2018. She also acted vigorously as a member of the Endometriosis Association Board of Directors for 29 years and in various capacities in the field of health care.

Dickinson, a New Jersey native, often returned to her alma mater to regale listeners with stories of her experiences, such as being cast as an extra in the film "Jaws," producing anti-bullying DVDs and driving a NASCAR racing car at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Lake Erie College named her a Distinguished Alumni in 1999 and Sesquicentennial Fellow in 2000.
