Tabrina Smith is an assistant professor of mathematics. Prior to joining Lake Erie College, she
taught at Kent State University where she subsequently received her Ph.D. in
mathematics. During her graduate studies
there, she served two years as an Ohio Board of Regents fellow.
She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Nu of Ohio as well as Pi
Mu Epsilon, Association of Women in Mathematics, American Mathematical Society
and Mathematical Association of America.
While teaching is her number one focus, her research interests are in
the field of functional analysis. Specifically,
