Part-Time Mathematics Instructor Job

Lake Erie College, a small, co-educational, four-year, independent liberal arts college located in Painesville, OH, 30 miles east of Cleveland, invites applicants for Adjunct Instructor in math, reporting to the dean of the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.

Using collaborative approaches, instructional technology and innovative methods, the successful candidate(s) will provide instruction at the undergraduate level, including History of Math.

Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching in a liberal arts college environment. To be considered for the adjunct instructor position(s), a master’s degree in the subject area and current or past Ohio educator licensure in mathematics is required. Post-secondary or secondary teaching experience is highly desired. For History of Math, a master’s degree in mathematics or a related field is required, Ph.D. preferred.
