ALUMNI WEEKEND 2023| September 28 - 30

You are invited to come back to campus! Whether it’s for a single event, a single day or the entire weekend, familiar faces and favorite places will jog your memory, whatever your class year, to remember escapades and the shared experiences of demanding schedules, kooky dorm tales, work in your major, and lifetime friendships. Relax and re-connect. Some events are free but please RSVP.


THURSDAY, SEPT. 28

School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Alumni Mixer
5 - 7 p.m. Austin Hall Lobby

Join alumni and friends for a mixer and academic lecture with Dr. Stella Capoccia `97, Associate Professor of Biology at Montana Tech, and research scientist specializing in the Migration of Waterfowl. Dr. Capoccia will discuss her research in her presentation. Students may attend free of charge. Appetizers and drinks included.

Basket and 50/50 raffles available, please bring cash to participate in the raffles.

Celebrate the golden anniversary with the LEC Class of 1973, with a luncheon, followed by a dynamic presentation by Dr. Clare McCord '73, author, educator and coach, and creator of Human Renaissance. This event is open to all LEC alumni of the 1970’s.

Y2K Alumni Reunion

Attend this unique, multi-year reunion for our “Generation X” crowd. All alumni from the '90s and '00s are invited to join us for a reception in the Rathskeller at Manor House, one hour prior to the start of the All-Alumni Cocktail Party. Appetizers and drinks included.

It’s the LEC social event of the season: the All-Alumni Cocktail Party at Manor House. The National Alumni Board will present the 2023 Alumni Awards winners. Cocktail attire is encouraged. Shuttle will be available.

Athletics Hall of Fame Ceremony

Join us as we welcome the triumphant return of the Athletics Hall of Fame after a 16-year hiatus! The Induction Ceremony features a luncheon and presentation. Registration spots are limited, and priority is given to inductees and their families, and past hall-of-fame members.

The class of 1973 will enjoy a private winery tour and tasting at South River Vineyard in Geneva. Please note this is a private event, but open to all 70s alumni who would like to celebrate the class of 1973.

Organ Concert
3 – 4 p.m. Helen Rockwell Morley Memorial Music Hall

LEC organist-in-residence Todd Wilson will play a selection of favorites on the historic 64-rank E.M. Skinner organ. Immerse yourself in the rich sound and incredible history of this magnificent instrument. Free to the public.

Food Truck Tailgate & Football Game
4:30 p.m. Jack Britt Memorial Stadium Parking Lot 301 Latimore St. Painesville, OH 44077

Join us for some pre-football-game fun in the parking lot behind Jack Britt Stadium. Cheesy Dave’s Food Truck and Manna will be there slinging all your favorites. Vouchers for free food given to the first 50 attendees. Stay and watch the football game versus Walsh at 7 p.m. Football game tickets can be purchased at the gate for $10. Sit in the “alumni section” with President Schuller and cheer the Storm on to victory!
