Hi! My name is Chelsea Nau Workman and I graduated from Ohio State ATI in 2005 with an Associate’s degree in Horse Production and Management. Since then I have found my passion in training horses and teaching all ages and skill levels how to ride and develop true horsemanship. My husband Brian and I purchased our farm in 2010 in Huntsburg Ohio and converted the dairy farm to a horse farm and now have a busy facility with 30 horses (although that sounds easy it was a lot of blood, sweat, and tears!) I enjoy the variety of working with many different breeds and riders of all ages. Many of my riders excel in multiple disciplines. I also have a YEDA team(Youth Equestrian Development Association) that gives riders of many different skill levels an opportunity to compete and exposes them to college scholarships and connections. It has been a great program that encourages teamwork, horsemanship skills, and responsibility. The team has 18 members this season with all different levels of riders. I enjoy showing the ranch classes along with classical and western dressage. I feel the basics of dressage is what we need to learn in every discipline we do with horses. I am blessed to raise my two boys and run a successful business doing what I love every day!

I am excited to work with the students at Lake Erie College in the western program. They are lucky to be at a college that is passionate about all disciplines in the industry.
