George M. Phillips serves as the Executive Director of Graduate Programs & Veterans Support and as an Adjunct Instructor in the School of Business & Social Sciences at Lake Erie College. In these roles, he is dedicated to advancing student success, expanding graduate opportunities, and ensuring strong support for veterans.

George holds degrees in Business Administration, Organizational Management, and an MBA, and is a graduate of Cleveland State University’s Leadership Academy. His career spans finance, insurance, government, higher education, and small business ownership, giving him a well-rounded perspective that enriches both his teaching and leadership.

Beyond higher education, George is also recognized nationally as a sports broadcaster, specializing in boxing and mixed martial arts, and as a published combat sports correspondent. He is the author of Enhance and a voting member of the College Football Hall of Fame.

With a career that blends education, leadership, athletics, and public service, George is passionate about mentoring students, supporting veterans, and making a positive impact on both the Lake Erie College community and beyond.
