Physician Assistant Program

Kaitlin Kerns, MSPAS, PA-C is a Lake Erie College Physician Assistant Alumnus. She currently works inpatient at the Cleveland Clinic Main campus taking care of patients actively waiting on the list for lung transplant and patients recovering post lung transplant. She has a passion for working with patients and partnering with families to help navigate the challenges and celebrate the victories that lung transplant can bring. Kaitlin focuses on building meaningful relationships with her patients and families providing the highest level of care tailored to their individual needs.

Kaitlin graduated from Hiram College with a B.A. in Biomedical Humanities in 2014. She earned her Physician Assistant degree from Lake Erie College in 2016.

Kaitlin enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and 3 dogs, Sunny, Penny, and Pearl. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her son, gardening, cooking, baking, spending time with her family and friends, spoiling her son, nieces and nephews, and taking walks at the park.
