Laura Stockhaus

Instructor of Equine Studies

While this is Laura’s first year as full time faculty, she has been teaching at Lake Erie College as an adjunct since the 2013-14 school year. Laura has a Bachelor’s degree in Equine Facility Management from Otterbein University. During her time as a student at Otterbein she served as the Equine Science Department's Teaching and Administrative Assistant. Since graduation, Laura has managed and taught riding lessons in several facilities in the NE Ohio area. Most notably, serving as Equestrian Director at Andrews Osborne Academy, where she managed the facility, coached two IEA teams, ran nationally rated horse shows, and developed academic courses in Equine studies at the middle and high school levels.
