Meredith Hlebak, MSPAS, PA-C | Faculty
Physician Assistant Program
Meredith earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition in 2012 and has several years’ experience as a corporate wellness coach working with individuals on their health goals. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Lake Erie College in 2023 because she realized she wanted to be able to understand her patient’s health and help in a different way. Her ultimate goal has always been to work with patients utilizing best practices from a conventional primary care approach through a functional medicine lens.
Meredith is an advocate for building partnerships with her patients and helping them navigate living a healthier life. She has always believed in the functional approach to health and wellness and enjoys getting out in her community to educate on nutrition, movement, mindfulness, and rest. She wants to help each individual understand their body and provide a manageable approach to making positive lasting changes to their overall health and well-being.
Outside of medicine, Meredith enjoys being a lifelong athlete by exercising daily or by participating in extracurricular sports, exploring nature, reading, visiting with friends and family, snuggling with her beloved German Shepherds and cat, or enjoying a good meal and glass of red wine with her husband Kyle. She is currently expecting their first child any day now and is looking forward to the new joys and challenges this will bring!
