Thank you for your interest in serving on the Lake Erie College National Alumni Board (NAB). This is an exciting time at Lake Erie College, and your time, talents, and engagement are both valued and appreciated.

The National Alumni Board seeks individuals whose personal qualities, professional expertise, leadership experience, and networks will strengthen the Board’s ability to connect the College with its students and alumni community.

About the National Alumni Board

The National Alumni Board is the governing body of the Lake Erie College Alumni Association. It is composed of elected officers, standing committee chairs, and three representatives who serve on the Lake Erie College Board of Directors.

The mission of the NAB is to:

• Reach, serve, and engage alumni and students

• Foster meaningful connections with the College

• Provide goodwill and charitable support to Lake Erie College

Board Member Expectations

Members of the National Alumni Board serve a three-year term and are expected to:

• Attend quarterly board meetings

• Serve on at least one subcommittee

• Participate in Alumni Weekend

• Actively serve as ambassadors for Lake Erie College

Subcommittee Opportunities

NAB members may serve on one or more of the following subcommittees:

• Executive

• Nominating

• Student Engagement (ad hoc)

• Events (ad hoc)

• Distinguished Alumni and Young Alumni Awards (ad hoc)
