The Office of Institutional Advancement

Our main focus is maintaining and strengthening relationships with alumni, donors, and friends through programs and outreaches to secure private philanthropic support.  We aim to sustain Lake Erie College and provide scholarship support for our students.

Our offices are on the first floor of Kilcawley Hall. We honor the rich heritage of LEC while promoting the present and providing for the future of the College. ​

Experience Italy like never before on this unforgettable, personalized alumni trip led by Dr. Paola Basile, Professor of Italian Studies and a native of Italy. With her expert guidance and local insight, this immersive journey offers a deeper connection to Italy’s rich culture, history, and traditions.
 

March 2027, Trip to Tuscany and more. Highlights include:

• Discovering Tuscany, one of Italy's most beautiful regions, famous for its rolling hills, vineyards, medieval hill towns, Renaissance art, and world-class cuisine. 

• A luxurious five-star resort with a spa and spectacular thermal baths in Val d'Orcia).

• Visits to the birthplaces of both Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci and museums.

• A hands-on cooking class in San Gimignano

• A guided wine tasting in the historic fortress of Montalcino, and much more

May-June 2027: Trip to Calabria and more. Highlights include:

• Discovering Calabria home to the breathtaking Coast of the Gods .

• The world-famous national museum of Magna Graecia that houses the gorgeous Riace Bronzes.

• Paestum in Campania, with its magnificent Greek temples and outstanding archaeological museum.

• The majestic Royal Palace of Caserta, the largest royal palace in the world by volume, featuring 1,200 rooms, 34 staircases, and a massive 120-hectare park, and much more.
