College Hall
The most iconic building on the main campus is the famed College Hall, which sits front and center on the main campus and is in the middle of the city of Painesville, Ohio.
As the first structure built for Lake Erie College, College Hall is on the National Register of Historic Places and has been awarded a Partners in Preservation grant presented by National Geographic.
Its history began when Lake Erie College was an all-women’s seminary and was a pivotal epicenter for the women’s suffrage movement.
Today, it acts as not only 4 floors of classrooms and offices for faculty, students, and staff but also a welcoming center where all of our students first come in to visit and are guided to take the world by storm.
