Lake Erie College Physician Assistant (PA) students invite the community to their “Fall into Health” fair. This FREE event will be held on Sunday, October 15, from 9 AM to 2 PM in the Osborne Family Athletic & Wellness Center, located on the corner of Gillett and Walnut Streets. Volunteers will work together to provide free medical care and health screening to all attendees. Health organizations such as University Hospitals and Signature Health will be present to provide care.
The PA organizing team is collaborating with many organizations to provide vision screening, dental care, physical exams, vital signs, women’s health, STD testing/treatment, HIV testing/treatment, vaccinations, homelessness services, community services and more.
To augment the health services being offered, free clothes, shoes, books, and haircuts will be provided while supplies last.
Services will be available at no charge because of 60 other community vendors who generously provided time and services. The students’ goal is to address the various social determinants of health for Lake County residents. Lake Erie College has partnered with University Hospitals, one of the nation's leading health care systems, to offer the Physician Assistant Program among its degree programs.
