Lake Erie College is pleased to announce a new partnership with Family Pride of Northeast Ohio, bringing expanded, in-person mental wellness services to the Lake Erie College campus and the greater Painesville community.
Family Pride of Northeast Ohio will maintain a regular presence on campus in the Garfield Building, offering professional mental wellness services up to three days per week, as needed. These services will be available not only to Lake Erie College students, but also to faculty, staff, and members of the broader community.
This partnership reflects Lake Erie College’s ongoing commitment to supporting mental health, well-being, and access to care. Family Pride of Northeast Ohio is a trusted provider of counseling and wellness services, and their on-campus availability will help reduce barriers to care by making services more convenient and accessible.
“We are thrilled to join Lake Erie College in this important initiative,” said Angi Daugherty, Executive Director of Family Pride. “Our team is passionate about supporting individuals at every stage of life, and this partnership allows us to extend that care to college students, faculty, and the broader community. Together, we are building a culture that values mental wellness as a foundation for thriving.”
