Pre-Pharmacy Program at Lake Erie College | Painesville, OH

Lake Erie College and the Northeastern Ohio Medical Universities (NEOMED) have a Memorandum of Understanding whereby Lake Erie College students qualify automatically for an interview for admission to the Pre-Pharmacy program with the College of Pharmacy.

Admission Interview Requirements

• 30+ SH of Instruction at Lake Erie College

• Maintained a 3.50 GPA

• 75 percentile or higher on the Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT).

In recent years, NEOMED has offered personal interviews to only about one-half of all applicants. Students interested in this Preferred Interview Status are encouraged to contact the Office of Academic Affairs as early as possible during their undergraduate career.

For more than 40 years, NEOMED has worked in collaboration with educational partners like Lake Erie College to source and train health professionals and medical researchers, the majority of whom come from and return to serve in Northeast Ohio.
