Ethical Issues in Sport| Course

This course exposes students to the various systems of ethics that have developed from antiquity to the contemporary through the lens of sport. Emphasis is placed on how and why certain decisions should be made in sport recreation and physical activity programs. Topics include but are not limited to normative ethics including virtue, stoicism, pragmatism, consequentialism, utilitarianism and applications of these ethics to sport.
