Fulbright Lecture| Event
Dr. Shweta Basnett, Fulbright Scholar at the University of Maryland, will be hosted by Holden Arboretum and Lake Erie College for a visit September 4-7, 2023. Dr. Basnett is an expert in Rhododendron pollination biology, she has done work in Sikkim India where the pollinators are mostly birds, and here in the Southern US where they are bees and butterflies. She will present her lecture, “Floral Traits and their Connection with Floral Visitors and Climate,” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 5, Dickinson Auditorium, Austin Hall, LEC. Learn more.
