Sean Kramer to Serve with PAEA New Faculty Workshops

Sean Kramer, MSHS, Program Director for the Lake Erie College Physician Assistant Program has been selected to serve as a facilitator for the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) New Faculty Workshops. Kramer will begin facilitating workshops in 2022.

The New Faculty Workshops are offered several times per year for faculty, clinical coordinators and program directors in from accredited Physician Assistant programs who are members of the PAEA. These workshops are designed to provide attendees with the essential skills and tools needed to excel in teaching PA students. Kramer is excited for the chance to participate and give back to the profession, while learning about other programs.

“As a clinical degree, physician assistants are not trained in how to teach,” Kramer explained. “For years, The PA Education Association provided me with incredible knowledge and skills to help me be a better educator. It is an honor to be able to give back toward the profession and future educators.”

PAEA is the only national organization representing physician assistant educational programs in the United States. Currently, all of the accredited programs in the country are members of the Association. PAEA provides services for faculty at its member programs, as well as to applicants, students, and other stakeholders.
