A Note from Heather Young
On behalf of the student performers, student choreographers and faculty choreographers, I want to thank you for attending Lake Erie College’s Spring Dance Concert. This performance is the first dance concert that Lake Erie College has hosted in several years and we are delighted to share the choreography you are about to see. The dancers have worked diligently this semester, balancing their rigorous academic schedule and extracurricular activities. One of our performers this evening also played in a soccer game earlier today. To say I am impressed and inspired by these dancers is an understatement. Their determination and perseverance is exemplary. Not only do they represent a unique skill set in movement and choreography, but also they set themselves to a high standard of academic success. I hope that you enjoy the performance and continue to support the Department of Dance at Lake Erie College. Please pardon the brief pauses that may happen between numbers. In addition, please turn off all cell phones, watches and any other electronic devices that may cause a disturbance during the performance.
Sincerely,
Heather Young
Adjunct Faculty, Lake Erie College
