Gloucestershire, England Hartpury

Hartpury is pleased to be able to offer Study Abroad experiences to Lake Erie College students.  Hartpury is beautifully situated in the county of Gloucestershire, two hours west of London, England.  Study Abroad students will typically visit Hartpury for one semester, either September to December or January to June.  The second semester has the attraction of including a three-week break at Easter – ideal for further travel!

We are a highly focused institution teaching animal science, equine science, agriculture, sports science, and applied business management.  We offer learning opportunities at Bachelor’s and Master’s levels, as well as research/PhD programs.

Our campus continues to benefit from ongoing financial investment.  We regularly stage world-class equestrian events and, in 2018, also hosted our first-ever Rugby Union international fixture. Many professional sports teams and athletes make use of our facilities.

Students are able to choose from a wide range of classes and we will be happy to discuss your individual objectives and requirements. Former Study Abroad students from Lake Erie College have enjoyed their time with us tremendously – in one case to such an extent that she subsequently returned as a member of our own faculty!
