  2. Lake Erie College to Celebrate Friends & Family Weekend September 15 -17

Lake Erie College families and friends are invited to join current and prospective students on campus for Friends & Family Weekend 2023 which will be held September 15-17. This gathering includes many exciting and educational events. It is the perfect opportunity to visit campus, meet faculty and staff, and experience first-hand vibrant campus life and the welcoming surrounding community. Events include: Friday, September 15 6-8 p.m. Social Hour at the Manor House 8001 Morley Road, Mentor, OH 44060 Students are invited to enjoy pizza and a bonfire at the EQ Center, while parents join President Schuller at the Manor House for a social hour. Trivia Night 8-10 p.m. Onstage at the Arthur Holden Center LEC campus Saturday, September 16 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Faculty & Staff Meet & Greet Lincoln Library LEC campus Storm Friends & Family Carnival 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. Recreation Park, 301 Latimore Street, Painesville, OH 44077 Play your favorite carnival games and take-home prizes; enjoy food from local restaurants. Storm the Field games Jack Britt Stadium, Recreation Park 301 Latimore Street, Painesville, OH 44077 • Men’s Soccer vs. Walsh University at 12 p.m. • Women’s Soccer vs. Ohio Dominican at 2:30 p.m. • Football vs. University of Findlay 7 p.m. • Football tickets are $10 and soccer tickets are $5. These can be purchased at the game or at lakeeriestorm.com/sports/2023/1/11/tickets.aspx. Students may attend games for free by claiming their All-Seasons Sports Pass (email athletics@lec.edu with questions). Saturday, Sept. 16 – prospective students only 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Equine Experience Day at the LEC George M. Humphrey Equestrian Center 10145 Pinecrest Road, Painesville, OH 44077 High school students interested in Equine Studies are invited to the LEC Equestrian Center to view shortened classes taught by the Equine Studies Faculty, tour the Center, meet our school horses, enjoy a catered lunch, meet representatives from Admission, Financial Aid, Career Services, and more.
