Lake Erie College will celebrate its 163rd commencement on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. The event will take place in the Jerome T. Osborne Family Athletic & Wellness Center.
Graduates and their families will be addressed by Michael A Keresman III, member of the Board of Directors, with a speech titled "3 x 3 x 3.”
A native of Parma, Ohio, Keresman is the co-founder and former chairman, president and CEO of CardinalCommerce Corporation, the global leader in enabling authenticated payment, secure transactions and alternative payments for eCommerce and mobile commerce.

Keresman earned recognition as one of Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneurs of the Year in 2004 and 2005.
Prior to his roles at Cardinal and STERIS, he was an early employee and CFO of HealthAmerica of Ohio. He helped to establish the first statewide HMO network in the nation and helped grow HealthAmerica of Ohio more than 500% in less than three years.
Between his tenures at STERIS and HealthAmerica, Keresman held senior management positions at International HealthCare, Inc. (IHC) and Western Reserve Health Plan.
Keresman is a graduate of John Carroll University with a BSBA in finance. In addition to serving on the Finance and Assets and Institutional Advancement Committees on the Board of Directors at LEC, he is a member of the Board of Directors for The Secure Remote Payment Council and the Cleveland Federal Reserve Advisory Board.
