Schulick has been active with numerous civic boards and committees throughout his career, serving as President of the Rotary Club of Youngstown from 2003-04 and 2013-14. He is currently a trustee for organizations including the Eastern Ohio Education Partnership, Akron Children’s Community Leadership Council, and Mahoning Valley Historical Society, to name a few. The Better Business Bureau presented Schulick with the Torch Award for Civic Leadership in 2015.

Apart from his civic engagement, Schulick is an active educator, serving as a part-time finance faculty member in the Lariccia School of Accounting and Finance at the Youngstown State University Williamson College of Business Administration since 1998, and also as an adjunct professor of finance at Walsh University in North Canton.

“We’re excited to have Scott as a member of our Board of Directors,” said Dr. Brian Posler, president of LEC. “Scott brings a breadth of knowledge and experience in areas that will be beneficial to the College, and we look forward to working with him.”

Schulick notes he is honored to become a member of Lake Erie’s Board of Directors “I’ve long admired the work of the College and look forward to being part of its continued growth,” he said. “Through various foundations and alumni in the Youngstown area, I’ve come to appreciate the history and legacy of the College over many years.”

Schulick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance, both from Youngstown State University. Youngstown State’s Williamson College of Business Administration honored him as one of the first recipients of the Distinguished Alumnus Award in 1997.
